What's the deal for existing customers?

  • At 11:30 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

I received an email stating that update would be free for existing owners. Yesterday, i received an email asking me to upgrade for just 10% off. What gives? Needless to say, I am angry. I just feel that a company should stand by their sales pitch. Say whatever you need to get me to purchase and then renig after I have spent my hard earned money (just so you can make more). I feel bad for the new users who purchase KA7 based on the "lifetime upgrades" as a selling point. They will be in for a surprise. Bottom line, if Chris and Goran want to change the policy from here on out for new users, go right ahead, but existing users are entitled to the terms in place at the time of purchase.

UPDATE- Chris Lee sent me an email clarifying the mixed messages I received in multiple emails, turns out existing owners will get to upgrade for free. On another note, I must say , Chris Lee is a class act. My email to him was not pleasant due to my frustration at the time and his response was completely helpful and professional, even though I was clearly undeserving of such a response. My respect and apologies

When can existing owners expect the free upgrade?

I've given up on these guys after buying both Dominator and Keywords. Dominator stopped working after some kind of API issue with Google and I was pretty much told to figure it out myself. Never did get it to work again. Now I tried to use Keywords and it is no longer supported and I don't see an update for owners of earlier versions. The customer service ticket approach is designed to get you to do not most, but virltualy everything yourself. They started out well meaning but in my opinion forgot whose money paved the way for their success.

You know, I hope that this isn't going to be the case, that existing KA owners are going to have to pay for an upgrade. That would really stink after putting down $100, and getting minimal service since the Overture blackout. I feel a new blog coming on called "Keywords Analyzer Ripped Me Off". Anyone other "Keywords Analyzer" subdomain/blogs/forums wanna link to me?

    how/where can we upgrade?

    Hi Chris,

Is it possible to add 3 more columns in the Google Bids Frame?

    1) Broad Bid * Broad Clicks
    2) Phrase Bid * Phrase Clicks
    3) Exact Bid * Exact Clicks

So we can sort those columns and see which of the keywords will turn out to be the most lucrative.

    Best Regards,

    Peter Noppen

Im chomping at the bit here and I know there are many mac centric businesses / industries out there who want to market themselves better on their existing systems and investment. Grab that market now before anyone else does!!!

A good way to get keyword suggestions is to use Google Adwords keyword tool. First, you need an Adwords account. Then start a new PPC campaign for your site and use the keyword tool to find not only keywords that people have searched on but also their relative popularities.

I can't get the software to work after trying many times. I only bought it 48 hours ago and I'm trying to get my money back. I was declined. What? I want my money back. If I can't use it then cancel my subscription. I can't even find a phone number to contact anyone.

Two years ago (2008), I purchased Keyword Analyzer and couldn't get it to work so I opened a ticket with their customer support. They never answered me!!! Eventually I gave up with them until a week ago when I decided to try to make the software work. I got the SAME result so I opened a ticket with them again. So far they have not responded at all. I'll be VERY surprised if they do because their customer support is non-existent!!! Has anyone heard from them lately????? If yes, how long did it take them to respond to your question or problem? Buyers BEWARE!!!

I just bought Keyword Analyzer in March 2010. It only gets data from Yahoo campaigns. None of the keyword generation and research tools work.

I've tried it on two machines with all firewalls and AV products disabled. One was Vista and the other was XP.

Attempts to get Google Bids data come up with an SSL error message.

Is anyone else running 7.69 able to get Google data?

This product was abandoned long ago! My own support request opened in December 09 has had no response EVER.

The company ShareIt still sells it here:
    http://www.shareit.com/product.html?productid=199595

I have told ShareIt how wrong it is to sell a product that the publisher no longer supports.

You must complain to ShareIt, too, if you have this software.

Nagy and Lee SUCK OUT LOUD for doing this to untold numbers of people. You can tell them I said so.
